We may also use web beacons (“pixel tags”) and cookies that may be installed in your device’s cookie folder, depending on the type of your device. You will find more information about this below. This information helps us optimise our App for all our visitors and continually make improvements so that the information on our pages can be updated and remains relevant and useful.
The device data the App collects includes:
We may use web beacons (or “pixel tags”), which are small graphic files allowing us to monitor the use of our Application. A web beacon may collect information such as the Internet Protocol (IP) address of the phone that downloaded the page on which the Uniform Resource Locator (URL) of the page containing the beacon is located, the time that that page was viewed, the type of browser that retrieved the web beacon, and the identification number of any cookie previously placed by that server on the phone.
A cookie is a string of characters transferred by a website or mobile application to the cookie folder of your browser, on the hard drive of your computer or mobile phone. It allows the website to “remember” you on your next visit. Cookies can help a website or app arrange content to provide you with information that interests you more quickly.
A cookie will usually contain information about the domain name of origin, its “lifespan”, as well as a value, usually corresponding to a unique randomly generated number.
Some cookies are considered to be legally strictly necessary for the service requested by the user and thus exempt from the obtaining of consent. For example, traffic statistics make it possible to detect browsing problems in an application or to organise certain content. You will be informed of such cookies when you first visit our application and during any updates.
Any cookie that does not fall into the “strictly necessary” category requires your consent, which will be requested by means of a banner. You can withdraw your consent at any time by going to the app settings. This right does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on that consent prior to its withdrawal.
Your Personal Data, collected using cookies, is stored by B.Live for a period of no more than 13 months from when the information was communicated when you first visited the relevant Application for strictly necessary cookies, and from when your consent was first obtained for cookies subject to consent.
